If you have ever decided to change your business name, and you already have a branded website to go with it, there may be some questions or concerns you will face when making your business domain name change.

Typically, with respect to the internet search engines, you would simply just park the new domain name that you are changing to, at the same DNS (domain name server) that your old business domain is at, and people would be able to use either domain to get to your Website. For example, if your original business domain was business1.com, and you were going to now use business2.com instead, you would simply point business2.com to business1.com, and that way, no matter which domain was typed into the browser, it would go to the original business1.com website.
