How To Report Spam Email

If you are receiving a lot of unwanted email, you CAN take action.

Nothing can be done about spammers if their activities are not reported. If you report a spammer’s activities to the proper authorities, there is a chance that a spammer’s account will be closed. You will also be helping other people who get spammy emails form the same person or persons.

The FTC (Federal Trade Commision) needs your help in identifying spammers’ accounts and any “unsubscribe links” that are deceptive. Send copies of your unwanted emails with those deceptive unsubscribe links to spam@uce.gov. make sure you include the header information in the email that you send. To fill out a complaint form, go to www.ftc.gov/spam.

You can also report unwanted emails or deceptive emails to either your or the spammer’s internet service provider (ISP).

Cellphone Bills: Hidden Fees and Taxes

Everybody has one these days…

I can remember being one of the few people in my area with a cellphone. It has been 20 years now since I got my first cellphone. 20 years? Yeah, I know. Most people never thought they existed back then. Actually they have been around a lot longer, but were mostly used for government and military purposes. It has been around 20 years since they became mainstream…

I can remember my first phone. It was huge! A good ole’ Tandy from Radioshack, and I still have it. No, I don’t use it anymore, but I am keeping it for sentimental reasons, and because maybe one day it will be worth something…

At any rate, times have definately changed, and cellphones have definately evolved…and so have the bills. This day and age, there are countless taxes and hidden fees that go along with having a phone.

Laser Tvs - Do They Exist?

Laser TV - Last year there was some mention about something called a “laser television”, floating around the television technology world, but it had some of the LCD and Plasma big boys calling the whole technology an outright scam. But it does, however, seem to exist in some form now. Laser TV is a projector TV technology that uses lasers instead of incandescent lamps to create light. Proponents say it uses less power and allows for lighter sets than even LCDs offer, with “bulbs” that never burn out.

This technology seems to have existed for some time now, but with people finally being turned on to LCD’s and Plasma TVs, as they are finally becoming more affordable, technology is almost becoming ‘a pain’ as there is starting to be overwhelming choices and questions with anything you can buy anymore. At one time it was just a matter of color or black-and-white, and which size? Now, there are literally hundreds of choices and options, and seems buying a television is now more difficult than buying a new car.
