You gotta love the internet. You now hear and see things online that you may never have heard of or seen without it. Yes, maybe a possible chance of something showing up on the news channer or in the local paper but, some things were just not news worthy enough to make those methods. With the internet, you get it all; weird, strange, bizarre, disgusting vile….you name it, you have instant access to it as soon as it comes out…
What am I getting at you ask? Well, I actually heard about this last year, but never found the importance of writing about it until today, when I see it hit the Yahoo news. It’s called “Dishwasher Cooking”. This bizarre way of cooking has been around for quite some time. People are creating mysterious and magical recipes for making in their dishwashing machines. How different is that?
Halloween and Thanksgiving Pumpkin Waffles
PUMPKIN WAFFLES
2 1/2 Cups All-purpose Flour
1/3 Cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
2 1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp. Ground Ginger
1/4 tsp. Ground Cloves
4 Large Eggs
1 Cup Whole Milk
1 Cup Buttermilk (well shaken)
1 Cup Canned Solid-pack Pumpkin
6 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter (melted)
Additional Melted Butter For Brushing Waffle Iron
Additional Butter For Serving With Waffles
Warm Maple Syrup
Spice Pie Online Recipe
EASY AS PIE QUICHE
1 (8 oz.) Can Evaporated Milk
1 Can Cream of Mushroom or Cream of Celery Soup
4 Eggs
2 Cups Skim Milk
1 Clove Garlic (chopped)
1/4 tsp. Ground Pepper
1/2 tsp. Basil
2 Deep Dish Frozen Pie Crusts
1 1/2 Cups Light Cheddar Cheese (grated)
2 to 3 Cups Frozen Broccoli or Spinach (thawed & drained)
1 Tomato
1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese
Makes 2 quiche. Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Thaw and drain mixture from the frozen vegetables. Set out the frozen pie crust to thaw. Grate 11?2 cups of Cheddar cheese and set aside.
Mix the first 7 ingredients on high speed in a blender and set aside. Distribute the thawed vegetables into the pie crusts. Sprinkle each with half of the grated Cheddar. Pour half of the blended ingredients into each pie. Garnish with tomato slices and Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.
