Simple Actions To Protect Your Family

Simple life changes can sometimes have complex consequences, particularly when it comes to long-term financial security for our families.

For example, the circumstances that create the need for financial protection-marriage, a new home, increased expenses or the birth of a new baby-can change at any time. A change in any one part of life can put a person’s or family’s lifestyle at risk.

Life insurance is a useful tool for protecting against such a risk. Traditionally, the purpose of the insurance is to provide a degree of financial security. As changes occur in a family’s income, assets and size, the amount of financial protection to keep it secure can change too.

Here are some questions to consider when reviewing your insurance coverage:

  • How long ago did you buy your life insurance?
  • Were your family circumstances different then?
  • Have you had a new baby since buying coverage?

Oh No Santa! No More Ho Ho Ho?

According to the Australian free press, Santa Claus’s in Sydney Australia have been told not to use the traditional “ho ho ho” greeting because it may be offensive to women because, it was too close the the U.S’s slang term “ho”, which is another term for prostitute.

The Australian Santa’s have been instructed to use “ha ha ha”, instead.

Can you believe this or what? I used to always say, “what is this country coming to?”, because crap like this seems to only happen in the U.S. I guess, now I have to say, “what is this WORLD coming to?”, instead.

Make it be noted tho, that of course, the U.S. had something to do with this tho lol.

Next thing to be banned, I’m sure, is any references to Santa’s sack ;0)

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

It is a time to focus on ways to not only protect children from abusive environments, but more importantly, to prevent the abuse from ever occuring.

During April, wear a blue ribbon to show your support of child abuse prevention. You can support the organization by purchasing ribbons and wrist bands at preventchildabusetexas.org
